My wife, Mackenzie, and I are big fans of the Fall. College football, grilling and tailgating, and much time spent with friends and family make for a perfect season. Even though Fall can’t last forever, the principles that make the season so special to me carry over into my everyday life. Being able to meet new people, grow existing relationships, and having the ability to take care of such an important part of my clients' lives is invaluable to me.

I’ve been able to bring this genuine care and relational aspect to my work at Financial Strategies Group since I started in 2013. I am a proud graduate of Central Michigan University, majoring in Personal Financial Planning, and I began my career at Edward Jones Investments. My passion for pursuing education above industry standards can be attributed to one of my favorite quotes by Zig Ziglar, “Success is when hard work meets opportunity.” (See the back of this biography for more details on my education). I specialize in asset accumulation with an emphasis on retirement income taxation. I feel like I have the opportunity to maintain those genuine, long-lasting relationships that build the familiarity crucial to my client's success in avoiding financial pitfalls and reaching their financial goals.

Mackenzie and our son, Kamden, and I reside in Dewitt with our two dogs, Paisley and Wrigley.
